Scarpa Rush 2 GTX

The new Scarpa Rush 2 GTX is an updated model that achieves the perfect balance between agility and support, and it sits halfway between a trail running shoe and a hiking shoe, making it ideal for our mountain excursions.

The Scarpa Rush 2 GTX is a hiking shoe that incorporates  the waterproofing provided by the Gore-Tex membrane in this version, which ensures dry feet at all times during our excursions in the rain or on wet terrain.

Main features of the Scarpa Rush 2 GTX

Scarpa presents the new version of one of the most versatile shoes in its catalogue. The upper of the shoe is made of mesh and synthetic leather, reinforced with the Gore-Tex Invisible Fit BlueSign membrane to ensure waterproof protection at all times and a great fit of the foot inside the shoe.

The upper also contains recycled materials that provide better breathability and help in the lightness of the shoe, which, with the membrane, is slightly superior to the Scarpa Rush.

The midsole features a 2D EVA foam that provides reasonable cushioning, for both running and hiking in the mountains.

Similar to the Scarpa Rush, the shoe incorporates the Dynamic Stabilizer Torsion system in the heel area, offering stability, fit, protection and torsional control for our ankles, which is always welcome on uneven mountain terrain.

The outsole of the Scarpa Rush 2 GTX contains the Presa HIK-03 / SuperGum technology, developed by the brand itself, which provides exceptional stability and traction, with a differentiated design in the rear to provide grip and adherence in the most uneven terrain and a front part designed to provide more durability and reactivity.

The shoe comes in two versions, men's and women's, with different colour options. It weighs 380 grams in the men's version and 315 grams in the women's version.
