Photos HOKA Hopara

1 / 3

The HOKA Hopara are true explorers of nature that adapt without problems to any type of terrain, whether easy or technical and both dry and wet.

The HOKA Hopara are hiking shoes & walking boots that stand out for their design and that we can use during our mountain routes on trails and simple forest tracks and mainly on dry terrain.

Main features of the HOKA Hopara

HOKA continues to expand its catalog of shoes for libre sports activities, but in the case of this model it is not suitable for all types of activities but for routes and trekking in the mountains.

The shoe has a synthetic upper with strategically placed drainage holes , which are one of the main features of the shoe's design, although it does not renounce the fact that they provide impeccable support while wearing them.

In addition, the shoe integrates a neoprene ankle strap that provides flexibility and comfort and a system that allows us to tie the laces quickly and easily.

Main characteristics of the HOKA Hopara

The toe ofthe shoe is made of rubber to offer great protection against external elements. Two small pull tabs (on the heel and tongue) make it easy to put the shoe on and take it off quickly and easily.

The HOKA Hopara provides good cushioning and responsiveness thanks to the EVA rubber foam midsole, which we will appreciate on those longer trekking days.

The outsole of the shoe is made of rubber, and offers great traction on all types of terrain, thanks mainly to the design of the sole in which the grooves are perfectly combined with multidirectional lugs, with a 4 mm prominence, to improve grip on wet or muddy terrain.

Ideal profile of the HOKA Hopara

This is a shoe that is designed to be used during our trekking routes as long as it is not overly complicated or high mountain terrain, as it does not have the necessary protections or technologies on routes on technical terrain or with large slopes.

Despite having a design that prioritizes lightness and large openings, it is a heavy shoe, weighing 340 grams. It should also be noted that the shoe has a medium drop, located in the 5 mm.

It is a unisex model, with a single design for both men and women and is available in a wide variety of colors to combine perfectly with our most mountaineering outfit.

In short, we are facing a shoe that stands out for its design and quality materials characteristic of the brand and that we can use in our trekking routes, preferably during the hottest months of the year.
