This fitness wristband will be available in the European market from the beginning of next year 2015 at a price of 199 dollars, which will presumably translate into 199 euros if the 1:1 dollar-euro parity is applied, something unfair by all accounts and which penalizes consumers on the old continent.

The new Microsoft gadget is designed and conceived for people who want to live healthier and be more productive in their daily lives. It comes integrated with a series of sensors - up to 10 - capable of monitoring heart rate, calories burned, the number of steps taken and even the quality of our sleep. As if this were not enough, it also includes a virtual assistant, ultraviolet ray sensor, GPS and optical pulsometer, saving us the hassle of having to wear a chest strap.

Microsoft Health

The company led by Bill Gates, as did Google and Apple, has launched and presented to the public an application called Microsoft Health, with cloud service, so that users of the Windows Phone ecosystem can send and save there their data recorded during the exercise of physical activity and those relating to their state of health. An added valor of this app is that it will be able to collect data from Android and iOS platforms.

With the Microsoft Band, as with the rest of its competitors, you will be able to see incoming calls, check emails, SMS messages received, view calendar events and various notifications coming from social media via Bluetooth technology.

The Redmond company has unveiled this smart wristband with a 1.4-inch touchscreen, color display and physical keypad. The battery has an autonomy of 2 days, according to Microsoft, and recharging, which lasts about an hour and a half, is done by magnetic charger.
