This Christmas the Kings have given my wife the Suunto Black Quest heart rate monitor, and the GPS Track Pod device with which they have undoubtedly succeeded both with her and me ...

Although I have the Suunto Ambit with which I am delighted, I decided to try the Quest and tell you my opinion about it.

The first thing to say is that I do not intend to compare both watches, since each one is for what it is and it is precisely in its different user profiles where its success lies; although I have been surprised by the magnificent performance of the Quest.

The gift came in two packages, one containing the watch, the Movestick device, a small USB that allows you to transfer data to your computer and the Dual comfort belt.

In another package (these Kings have been very generous) came the new GPS TRACK POD device that comes to reinforce the functions of the Quest, transforming it in a simple way in a GPS of last generation with which to record the routes, know the speed of travel, the distance and even the altitude.

GPS Track POD, or how to convert my Suunto Quest (for little more than 100 e.) in a gps of the latest technology?

This Track Pod allows to complement in a simple and economic way the functions of the heart rate monitor Quest in a GPS with which to control, to register and to visualize in the Pc the training, route or excursion realized. With it you forget about specific devices for running or cycling as the control of the parameters is done via satellite.

This small and lightweight device of only 35 g. can be attached to an armband, placed in the backpack, on the cap, on the handlebars of the bicycle or even the helmet of the canoe as it is submersible up to 30 m (ISO 22810).

Once synchronized with the Quest, it allows the route to be recorded, with the data of the speed at which you have gone, the distance traveled and the altitude profiles. A real piece of genius! !!!!

The battery is rechargeable (lithium-ion) and lasts many hours, recharging every time you connect the device to the PC to transfer the data, which is done automatically by the Movescount.com program.

The Quest becomes, thanks to the GPS Track Pod, a complete heart rate monitor with new technology and maximum performance, for those athletes who value to receive a complete amount of data related to their sport in a reliable and instantaneous way.
