With the premise of maintaining a basic style but with high performance, the professional skateboarder Justin Figueroa joins his experience on the board together with the company Emerica to launch a shoe specially created to practice skateboarding professionally, the Emerica Figueroa shoe.
It is a slim silhouette shoe but with a double layer, the tongue and cover promote breathability with two strategically placed holes which generates an adequate airflow to keep the foot cool avoiding excessive sweating and odor.
To this new model of skate shoe has been added an adjustment system on the inside, to give better support to the foot, keeping it in place, a detail that provides greater security when putting on the shoes and practicing different types of tricks.
The sole of the Emerica Figueroa shoes is made with a rubber that provides a good grip, although it is not a completely solid sole, the feet remain fixed without unexpected slipping. The rubber also offers adequate abrasion resistance for a more durable shoe.
Despite the thinness of the sole, the shoes are sturdy enough to skateboard on stair rails and withstand the force of falls without hurting the soles of the feet.
The material with which they are made is suede, peculiarly the Emerica Figueroa can feel stiffer than normal, however despite being a hard material favors the support of the foot and does not limit flexibility. The shoes fit properly to the size, at first they may feel narrow, but with use they fit perfectly.
The insole is somewhat spongy and gives a feeling of stability and comfort, in addition to cushioning impacts. In this edition of shoes the insole has been attached directly to the midsole, which means that the insole is not removable, although thanks to its characteristics it offers good support to the sole of the foot, adapting naturally to its anatomy.
With this edition Emerica intends to remain in the preference of skaters, offering them a shoe that perfectly meets all the requirements of the sport. The Emerica Figueroa skate shoes can be adjusted to the needs of all skaters, from beginners to professionals.
