Year 2016

The Saucony Hurricane ISO 2 Running shoes have become one of the best choices for medium to heavy runners looking for maximum cushioning and pronation control. From the upper to the outsole you will feel that this is a top of the range shoe that stands out for its stability, comfort, flexibility and protection in each of your outings.

In other words, you will find everything the Sacony Xodus ISO has to offer but with the added stability and protection required by a pronator foot.

In this second edition of the Saucony Hurricane ISO you will find some improvements. The main one is the midsole construction, which incorporates Everun technology that allows for increased energy distribution and generous and smooth cushioning in the transition of the stride.

The midsole and upper have also received some optimizations to make the shoe more comfortable, more durable and able to offer maximum protection to the runner's foot at all times.

Saucony XT-900

The sole of the shoe also comes with improvements in this edition; it incorporates the XT-900 technology. A carbon rubber material that has been specifically placed in the heel area to improve traction.

The rest of the outsole incorporates IBR+ technology, a very flexible material that improves response during impact with the ground while providing a touch of firmness to the cushioning. These materials combine perfectly with the EVERUN technology in the midsole, allowing you to enjoy incredible sensations during your outings.

New upper

ISOFIT technology in the upper makes the Saucony Hurricane ISO 2 a second skin. It adapts to the natural shape of the foot for a softer feel while providing a better fit and security for the foot.

The shoe features four synthetic extensions that emerge from the laces; this design allows the shoe to wrap around the foot and custom fit the upper of the shoe for a more protected and stable environment.

EVERUN Technology

We have previously mentioned it as part of the midsole of the Saucony Hurricane ISO 2 and it is a material that we are going to find in other models of the brand such as the Saucony Guide 9, the Kinvara 7 and the Saucony Xodus that offers an excellent energy return during the stride cycle. Its cushioning also provides a firm response.

Hand in hand with this technology, a "landing zone" has also been placed in the heel area of the shoe to reduce the sensation of impact on landing. Leaving behind the POWERGRID that had been implemented in the midsole of the Saucony Xodus 6, now it incorporates POWERGRID+ which is a 15% more resistant material with 20% more cushioning that improves the overall response.

All in all, although this is a shoe whose price may be high, it is one of the best choices if you are looking for a top of the range shoe in cushioning, support and comfort for your workouts at medium or slow paces.
