Year 2019

Saucony joins the trend of racing shoes with carbon plate, and already has its star model: Saucony Endorphin Pro. A model that is accompanied by two other variants of this new and innovative family: Speed and Shift.

The launch of these three models, including the Saucony Endorphin Pro, represents a total change of direction for the renowned Massachusetts brand, because not only is there an aesthetic renovation of the Running shoes, but there is also an important and significant variation in terms of performance.

Saucony Endorphin Pro, main features

This innovative silhouette from Saucony, incorporates the most cutting-edge technologies and materials of the firm with the aim of positioning this silhouette as an absolute reference for runners looking to fly on asphalt. Being equipped with Saucony's most responsive foam, the ultra-light PWRRUN PB foam, combined with the carbon fiber plate and SPEEDROLL geometry, the runner will enjoy a unique feeling of propulsion, along with an unwavering sensitivity.

The midsole construction of the Saucony Endorphin Pro guarantees an extremely comfortable and dynamic running experience. In addition, the carbon fiber plate in combination with PWRRUN PB foam, an extremely lightweight compound, helps reduce fatigue at racing speeds.

The upper cut through FORMFIT engineered mesh ensures excellent fit and breathability. A highly elastic fabric capable of adapting perfectly to the shape of the runner's foot, whose aerodynamic design allows for greater running speed. In addition, the heel area has been optimized to offer extra support during the stride cycle.

The outsole of this flying shoe is made from an optimized carbon rubber for impeccable traction and durability at fast paces.

Saucony Endorphin Pro Runner Profile

As seen at the December 2019 Austin Running Show, the first thing to make clear about these groundbreaking Saucony Endorphin Pro is that it is a racing shoe more focused on professional athletes. While the Saucony Endorphin Speed model is the one that is more oriented to the most common of mortals with a great reactivity but also very well cushioned.

That said, these Saucony Endorphin Pro are developed for athletes who compete at the highest level, and for whom speed makes the difference. It is a racing shoe for light runners who can also show off a refined running technique.

Saucony Endorphin Pro with carbon plate

Saucony s product developers have made a big bet, and the ISO Fit and Crystal Rubber compound are no longer present in the new models. Thus, the novelties come from the hand of the exclusive foams of its midsole in which the evolved compounds PWRUN, PWRUN + and Endorphin PWRUN PB, the latest generation, are combined.

The cushioning capacity of Saucony s Endorphin Pro is guaranteed by the inclusion of the new Endorphin PWRUN PB foam, based on Pebax®, which is a very light material. This, considering that this Pro version brings with it that carbon plate, and that it is inserted with some curvature to keep the feet slightly elevated, and thus favor more propulsive transitions, and with greater energy return.

When breaking down the technical specifications of these Saucony Endorphin Pro we can certify that it is a very light racing shoe, since it has a weight of 213 grams in the men's version, and 179 grams in the model for female runners. All of this is contained in a drop of 8 millimeters, with heel heights of 35 mm and forefoot heights of 27 mm.

Saucony s commitment to run as fast as possible and help the athlete to smash their personal bests has a new maximum exponent in the Saucony Endorphin Pro, the shoe of the records of the American brand and the most technologically advanced.
