Year 2023

The Saucony Blaze TR is the new Saucony shoe designed for those asphalt runners who want to get started in the world of trail running. With this new shoe, Saucony completes a trail running catalog with shoes for the vast majority of runners.

The Saucony Blaze TR, trail running shoe, will be available from April 2023 with some of the most outstanding technologies of the American brand that we explain below.

Saucony Blaze TR, main features

The upper of the new Saucony Blaze TR has a mesh designed to protect the foot during your mountain routes but at the same time allows good breathability, so necessary especially in the hottest months of the year.

The chassis of the Saucony Blaze TR is designed to provide stability from heel to toe, but also flexibility from midfoot to sidewall.

The midsole of the Saucony Blaze TR is equipped with Saucony s PWRRUN foam that works so well in other models of the American brand, such as the Saucony Peregrine 13, but we will not have as much cushioning as the shoe lacks the PWRRUN + insole.

What type of runner are the Saucony Blaze TR recommended for?

The Saucony Blaze TR is a trail running shoe perfect for those runners of medium weight (even high) who are starting out in the exciting world of trail running. A perfect shoe to safely make the transition from asphalt to the mountains. Aimed at neutral runners, it offers the cushioning and protection needed for short and medium distances.

Saucony Blaze TR, technical specifications

The Saucony Blaze TR has an outsole with high grip lugs, 4mm high, to have some versatility and grip on a wide variety of terrains, preferably on terrains that are not very technical or complicated.

The Saucony Blaze TR has a 4 mmdrop with high profile, 355 in the heel area and 27.5mm in the forefoot. It is not a very high drop for runners who are new to trail running but it complements very well with those high profiles of the shoe.

The Saucony Blaze TR has a weight of 269 grams in the men's version and 238 grams in the women's version, so runners of average weight will get the most out of this shoe.

With the addition of the Saucony Blaze TR to Saucony's catalog of trail running shoes, a wide variety of shoes is completed and covers a type of runners for whom Saucony did not yet have a shoe designed for them, runners who want to start trail running with a quality shoe at a really competitive price.
