The "TR" or "door to trail" concept continues to be one of the big bets of the main brands in the market in which emblematic running models are adapted to also run on trails and forest tracks without great technical difficulties, being able to combine in this way asphalt and mountain in the same training.

The Saucony Aura TR is a trail running shoes that offers great value for money and incorporates some of the most popular technologies of the American brand.

Main characteristics of the Saucony Aura TR

Saucony continues its commitment to approach the maximum profile of runners and, with this shoe, focuses on all those runners who need a first trail running shoe, comfortable and versatile, for their training in the mountains and who do not need the best technologies provided by models of higher ranges.

The Saucony Aura TR stands out for its good fit, comfort and good performance to become one of the best companions for our running and trail sessions.

The upper of the shoe has a durable and breathable two-layer mesh that favors the fit of the foot inside the shoe providing great comfort while running in the mountains. It also has protections on the sides and front to offer better protection and support.

The shoe has VERSARUN cushioning in the midsole, which was used in the initial models of the brand and provides a reasonable cushioning.

The outsole has XT-600 adherent lugs with a 4 mm prominence, which provide great grip on compact terrain but without excessively penalizing us if we want to run with them on asphalt.

Ideal profile of the Saucony Aura TR

This is a shoe for runners of medium weight, with neutral stride technique and who need a shoe to run quietly, at medium, even slow paces in the mountains. In terms of distances, it is a shoe that, due to the technologies it integrates, defends itself perfectly in short distances and on terrain without great technical difficulties.

As for the technical specifications of the shoe, it should be noted that it weighs less than 300 grams, specifically 272 grams, a weight in line with other shoes of similar characteristics that can be found on the market.

As regards the drop, it has an ideal drop for comfortable and relaxed running in the mountains, a drop of 8 mm, with profiles of 31 mm in the back and 23 mm in the front of the shoe.

In short, this is a shoe that has everything you need to enjoy running libre while we started in trail running.
