The Salomon Wander Gore-Tex is now available, a versatile shoe for use in our outtdoors sports activities, whether running or walking on trekking routes.
The Salomon Wander Gore-Tex is a trail running shoe that fits a wide profile of athletes who need a shoe with protection and stability for use during any time of year.
Main features of the Salomon Wander Gore-Tex
Salomon continues to expand its catalog of shoes designed to run (and walk) safely and securely in the mountains with this new model.
The upper of the shoe is made with a resistant fabric and reinforced areas to provide maximum protection against external elements.
The shoe incorporates a waterproof Gore-Tex membrane to protect our feet from rain and mud. The Salomon Wander Gore-Tex has a traditional lacing system with eyelets, not with the Quicklace system that is present in other models of the brand.
Also note the presence of a large puller in the heel area to facilitate putting on and taking off the shoe easily and quickly, even with gloves if necessary in the coldest times of the year.
The midsole has the high performance Energy Cell foam developed by the brand that helps cushion impacts with the surface and provides excellent cushioning at all times.
It should also be noted that the shoe has a removable OrthoLite insole, which provides extra cushioning, comfort and breathability. In addition, the insole has antibacterial properties that help prevent the dreaded bad odors of our feet.
The outsole features one of the brand's most popular compounds, the All Terrain Contagrip compound, which guarantees great traction and grip on a wide variety of surfaces. This technology offers durability and confidence on wet, dry, hard or slippery surfaces.
