Year 2019

The Salomon SLab Sense 7 are presented as a high performance model for the 2019 season, for the most demanding athletes of the races on the mountain. They do so with an incredible weight, even lighter than that of the Salomon Sense 6, standing in this new version at around 200 grams. This is a shoe that is intended directly for use in competition, specifically for the fastest runners who want to achieve very fast rhythms. The previous version was already catalogued as a good shoe for long distances, and this new silhouette is not far behind. Are you one of the fastest runners on the mountain? Maybe you are interested in this silhouette, let's take a look at all its details.

Highlights of the Salomon SLab Sense 7

  • Precise and natural fit

As they did in the last version, Salomon designers have chosen to remove from this silhouette any unnecessary detail in order to achieve a shoe with the greatest possible lightness. Therefore they have opted for a lightweight breathable mesh with quick drying, a nylon layer and excellent durability for long distances. They are accompanied by a soft inner lining and SensiFit technology, responsible for providing a comfortable and secure fit, so that the upper wraps the foot from the midsole to the eyelets, where the Quicklace systemperforms its function. That is to tie the laces easily and securely with a locking closure, then the excess lace can be stored in the inside pocket of the tongue.

  • Ground contact

This shoe has a low drop of 4 mm so you will have a constant ground feel, in which plays an important role its dual density midsole composed of compressed EVA. They also feature Profeel Film technology to support the foot and improve the transition of the foot strike by means of a mechanism that joins the upper with the forefoot, offering an extra touch of stability to the shoe.

  • Quality for your stride

In the midsole of the Salomon SLab Sense 7 has been added the EnergyCell+ compound, which offers a magnificent energy return through a rebound effect produced in each step. Thus providing better cushioning and durability to the shoe. And not only that, it is very beneficial as the kilometers go by, where you will need one last helping hand.

On the outside of these trail running shoes we have opted for the prestigious Contagrip sole, in premium version, which is characterized by its excellent adaptation to any type of terrain and superior traction through a multidirectional blocking in the form of irregular quadrilaterals.
