The MIZUNO ENERZY technology has been incorporated into the midsdole of these running shoes, unlike its predecessor. This is a midsole material that offers excellent softness and rebound, so if we already thought that number twelve offered great cushioning, this latest version improves upon it. In addition, WAVE technology and U4icX also increase this cushioning and stability, as we already saw in the Mizuno Wave Ultima 12.
In the upper area we also find several changes. These Mizuno Wave Ultima 13 no longer have seams or protections, focusing on comfort and fit of the foot through the fabric with which it has been made. This fabric is the AirMesh, which allows a high level of breathability and comfort to be maintained in this part of the shoe.
Finally, as for the X10 outsole, we can say that it is composed of an extremely durable carbon rubber, which allows for greater wear in high impact areas and gives more traction on heel strike. So it is perfect for runners who heel strike.

In one Word, the Mizuno for long time Mizuno Lowers. Was softer than its compatriots for a Looong time, but with the induction of more Energize Material in the Wave Rider, Inspire and so on, and the removal of midfoot bridge and such, it remains what 5 Years ago a softer WR would have been.
