Year 2016

The model worn by a super athlete like Javier Gomez Noya, five-time world triathlon champion. The Mizuno Wave Hitogami family is already one of the great references in flying shoes for neutral runners, and its third version continues to orient its performance towards middle and long distance competition, and also for fast series. Although this is a model for fast running, under 4:15 per kilometer, it also has excellent cushioning.

After the great success of its predecessor, the Wave Hitogami 2, the Japanese brand has opted to introduce few changes in its latest release. Thus, the renovation of the Mizuno Wave Hitogami 3 is focused on its aesthetics and upper.

The new upper design features a more breathable mesh material, which improves the fit of the model. Another new detail of the Hitogami 3 is in the toe area, where the toe cap has been trimmed in order to gain more flexibility.

As in the previous version, the combination of Wave technology with U4ic compound provides excellent cushioning and a more reactive response, without increasing the weight of the shoe. The Dynamotion Fit system is also maintained, those fastening straps on the inside that serve to reinforce the fit, improving the adaptation of the foot in each step.

Weight characteristics remain the same as in the Hitogami 2: 220 grams in the men's model for a size 425 European size, and 190 grams in the women's version for a size 30 European. The drop does not vary from 9 millimeters either (Height: heel 19mm and forefoot 10mm).
