The Mizuno Wave Aero 16 is the latest version of thismythical and versatile saga of the Mizuno catalog, and the most advanced of its kind, because it is the most cushioned racing shoe of the Japanese firm. This claim is confirmed by Mizuno, as the Wave Aero 16 is cushioned enough for series and quality training and fast enough to compete in middle distance races, even up to a half marathon.

Compared to the previous version of the Mizuno Wave Aero 15, the sixteenth edition of the Wave Aero does not present major changes, although the formula for success of this model is still focused on a successful combination of the most advanced technologies and materials of Mizuno, and that has offered such good results in its predecessor models. And of course, always maintaining the essence of providing fast running sensations, and enjoying superior cushioning.

Thus, the midsole of the Mizuno Wave Aero 16 stands out for presenting a formidable cushioning capacity, not without a great lightness. In this part of the shoe, Mizuno's exclusive Wave platform takes center stage, which contributes to increasing flexibility in each step. But we must also highlight the role played by the U4ic compound, because thanks to this material the Mizuno Wave Aero 16 is able to compensate its premium cushioning system in relation to the weight, and that allows this model to be a valid option for the fastest workouts. At the same time it also reinforces such an important section as protection.

New highlights of the Mizuno Wave Aereo 16

On the other hand, the update of the Mizuna Wave Aero 16 is palpable in its upper, which has been redesigned to offer a more precise fit at midfoot level, and thus offer greater comfort in every kilometer covered on the asphalt.

In fact, this upper of the Wave Aero 16 combines Airmesh and DynamotionFit technologies. The result is a shoe that isfast and lightweight, but which is also able to provide a more anatomical and adaptive fit, and therefore a higher level of comfort.

Another important aspect of the upper of the Wave Aeero 16 is the internal straps, which serve to increase the support of the model, while stabilizing the foot in each step. Not to mention that this latest update of the Mizuno Wave Aero includes SmoothRide technology to provide a smoother and lighter running experience.

In the technical specs chapter, the Mizuno Wave Aero 16 does not provide any new data that has not already been seen in the Wave Aero 15. That is, 9 mmdrop; and weights of 225 grams for the male model (size 42), and 195 grams for the female version (size 38.5).
