The prestigious British firm Inov-8 presents this minimalist Trailroc 150 model, specially designed for the use and enjoyment of the purists in this type of trail running. Its appearance is quite avant-garde and is aimed at runners who in principle do not require great performance, resulting in a good choice as training material and can be complemented with other higher-end shoes for competition.

Completely flat shoe

Its 150 grams of weight make them extremely light for running in the mountains. Its completely flat sole - it has zero millimeters of drop has lugs made of soft rubber 4.5 millimeters deep. Unlike the other models in this Trailroc range, it lacks a midsole.

Cushioning is almost nil, so its use would be restricted to runners with a highly efficient stride or who are very accustomed to barefoot shoes, offering the best results on both compact surfaces and on terrains with some loose gravel.

Three-compound rubber outsole

The TrailRoc outsole uses three different rubber compounds from toe to heel providinggood but not exceptional grip, wear resistance and durability. Its wider toe cap allows the metatarsals to separate and is very comfortable for athletes who impact on the forefoot when running and runners with slightly wider than average feet.

The British brand uses a synthetic and TPU material for the upper of this shoe, which contributes to waterproofing against rain and puddles but does not facilitate breathability at all. On the other hand, it is probably in the area of flexibility where this shoe excels.
