The inov-8 running brand is constantly evolving its collection of shoes to adapt to a growing market. The inov-8 Parkclaw 275 shoes are aimed at runners who enjoy both roads and trails.

The Parkclaw 275 is the perfect shoe for runners who want to run on trails, or those looking to transition from road to trail. They perform superbly on both terrains, and feature an aggressive outsole for added grip.

Upper

The upper construction features more protective and durable materials, better suited to deal with and protect against the elements found in trail environments.

The upper is made from a single piece of breathable fabric. The tongue is soft and cushioned, without ever feeling too bulky. There is also a sort of loop on the tongue to position it in the right place before tying the laces.

The heel support area is cushioned and features another sort of loop to easily slip the shoe on; speaking of the laces, they are perfectly sized (for some it can be annoying to have to tie laces that are too long, which "flap" when running) the laces are made of a material that prevents them from coming undone when tied correctly.

There is no reinforced toe cap on this shoe, it must be considered that it is a trail shoe for beginners and probably, it is therefore not recommended to use them on terrain with excessive loose rocks that can hurt the feet.

Midsole

Now you can run on any type of asphalt with the new Powerflow+ midsole technology. The Powerflow+ system offers up to 10% better shock absorption and 25% more energy return than other standard midsoles.

The experience of those who have trained on them indicates that they provide good shock absorption, the midsole has a firm feel and overall they respond very decently, especially in the forefoot area.

Outsole

They feature a slightly more aggressive, trail-style lug pattern compared to a road-specific shoe, but the lug design ensures that the feel is smooth when training on roads.

Key Features

The Parkclaw 275 has a fit style that would be classified as standard. The first thing you notice is the roomy foot area, this certainly helps with comfort and stability. When training it is better to have more room, especially when your feet start to swell after a long and intense session.

The last thing to mention on the design is that this shoe weighs only 275g. A very contained weight for a shoe that has so much cushioning and support. If you are a trail running just starting out in the sport or are at an intermediate level, looking to get away from the roads, the Parkclaw 275's could be the shoe you are looking for. They have excellent stability, are very lightweight and comfortable as well.

The Inov-8 Parkclaw 275 s are the answer for those athletes who expect a running shoe that covers all their running needs. They could be considered an all-around shoe that is versatile enough for trail running, yet still offers enough cushioning to comfortably take you from home to the trails via the pavement or for short runs on the road.
