The new Brooks Ricochet Running shoes are the new release of the American firm that stands out for being one of the two models in which the new DNA AMP technology has been incorporated. Brooks Ricochet, fit and comfort

As we mentioned before, the star component that Brooks Running has opted for in this new model is the DNA AMP technology. It is a polyurethane material with an outer layer composed of TPU, the one we find when we talk about the Boost technology of the American house, which provides excellent energy return for the athlete and which in turn is combined with the classic DNA BioMoGo. The Running shoes along with the Brooks Bedlam are the only two models that include this component and that follow the line of the original, Brooks Levitate. With these additions we see how the weight of the shoe is reduced while increasing the softness and adapting the cushioning to the needs of the athlete.

As for the characteristics of the upper of the Brooks Ricochet, its design incorporates the new Fit Knit technology, a soft material that provides a secure fit to the user in this way, also significantly increases comfort in each stride, breathability and lightness. As for the design, it shows a sock-style structure with knitted outer materials. In addition, the collar has been lowered in the heel area and to maintain the fit, a loop has been added around the collar, which by means of two loops is connected to the usual lacing system, so that the Ricochet fits perfectly to your foot.

In the sole, an arrowhead design is used that is very reminiscent of that of the Levitate, the strengths of this structure are mainly the flexibility and smoothness of the transition of the foot in each step. Also, thanks to the suitability of the location of the rubber elements, the durability and especially the traction of this sporty shoe has been increased. Coverage has also been increased since in some areas, such as under the midfoot, the sole has become narrower.

To conclude in terms of technical specifications, the Brooks Ricochet has a drop of 8mm. Its weight we have commented that it is a lighter model and remains below the 300 barrier. More specifically, 292 gr in the men's version and 261 gr in the women's version.
