Today we bring you the Adidas Terrex Two BOA, the trailrunning shoes that ensure fit, lightness and traction. The BOA lacing system gives this model its name, allowing you to adapt the fit to the millimeter. Designed for outdoor use , they are environmentally friendly, in fact they continue with the Parley policy of the brand with the commitment to the environment and have only been manufactured in white to avoid the use of dyes. In addition, as usual, the Continental compound has been used in the outsole, which increases the traction of the shoe by up to 23%. Designed for a trail running with a neutral stride who seeks the greatest possible lightness below the 300 barrier, thanks to the Adiprene compound in the midsole.

Adidas Terrex Two BOA, fit, lightness and traction

Let's take a look at the performance of this model, where the midsole features Adiprene technology, developed by Adidas itself, which brings lightness, comfort and protection to the shoe. In fact, Adiprene has been chosen instead of Boost, because this first compound is lighter. In general terms, we can say that the midsole is thicker, so the cushioning is also improved, especially for dirt roads.

The upper of the Adidas Terrex Two BOA shoe is made of a breathable mesh that provides maximum ventilation. But the most important thing in this area, and that when you see the name you will imagine is the BOA closure system, the roulette with which you adjust your shoes in a more precise and adapted way, so it gives you greater fit and support even on uneven terrain. In this case, it is a system designed for outdoors that has more relief in the thread so you can adjust it to your size even with wet hands, we also checked a special thread friendlier and less sticks in the instep.

We move on to the outsole, to comment that, as is increasingly common in Adidas signature shoes, has opted for the Continental rubber compound, which is characterized by excellent grip on both wet and dry ground, in fact they have found that it provides21% more traction on dry surfaces and 23% more in wet conditions. It is also perfectly resistant to wear and tear. We recall that this compound is inspired by the Mountain King tire, in this version and as a novelty has incorporated a contour of lugs that offers a higher level of stability to the user.

In terms of technical specifications, the drop has been reduced from 10mm to the current 8mm. Regarding the weight, we have already mentioned that the Adidas Terrex Two BOAhas opted for the Adiprene component, which among other qualities, stands out for its lightness, something that does not happen with the Boost technology. In this way its weight is 290 gr
