Features of the Adidas Solarcontrol

These adidas Solarcontrol are a model intended, above all, for daily training for runners. A stable shoe that incorporates pronation support technology, it becomes a very interesting option for long, quiet runs.

The cushioning capacity and sustainability of these running shoes are other of its hallmarks. Therefore, we are talking about a model that offers a high degree of comfort, stability and breathability to make our training sessions much more pleasant.

Ideal runner of the Adidas Solar control

We can say that the typical user of this adidas model would be a runner with a tendency to pronation and of medium-high weight, approximately from 80kg in men and 70kg in women. This does not mean that lighter runners cannot use them for their slower or regenerative sessions.

Solarcontrol are a shoes for running at slower paces than 4:5 minutes per kilometer. In addition to use as a daily training shoe, runners who prioritize comfort and support over lightness will find them suitable for half marathons and even marathons.

Technical specifications of the Adidas Solarcontrol

The German company incorporates Boost foam in its midsole, a compound that ensures a very pleasant and cushioned feel in each step. This cushioning is complemented by adidas LEP 2.0 technology, which favors a more guided stride and greater propulsion capacity.

The upper of this men's and women's running shoe is made from at least 50% recycled materials, making it very light weight and breathable. Both the tongue and the collar that wraps around the ankle are very plush, creating a soft and comfortable supportive feel.

The Adidas Solarcontrol features a Continental compound rubber outsole in key areas, with a glimpse of Boost foam in some places. This compound is more adherent and durable in the inner area, precisely the area where runners with pronation tendencies generate greater contact forces.

With a 10mm drop and a weight of 340 grams, this model intended for pronator runners, is available to the running public for an RRP of 150€.
