That the acronym "ST" appears on an adidas running model tells us that the running shoe in question is included in the Stability category, and that it is nothing more than a stability and support running shoe, aimed at correcting the pronation of the overpronator runner. This premise is contained in the new adidas Solar Glide ST, the pronation control alternative to its soul mate, the adidas Solar Glide.

In the adidas Solar Glide ST, the winning bet of the designers and experts of the German company is to present a running shoe that stands out for its Boost midsole and flexible Strechweb outsole. These aspects are common to the three models that, to date, make up the Solar family with the Solar Boost, the top of the range model, and its little sisters, the Solar Glide and the Solar Drive. The latter two with their stability variants for the pronator runner.
However, when talking about a specific stability control model, the addition that comes with the adidas Solar Glide ST is a design that provides a higher degree of stability than its counterpart for neutral runners, the adidas Solar Glide. Hence, the ST option of the Solar Glide has incorporated a double density of Boost foam, the revolutionary cushioning system that has marked a before and after in the firm of the three stripes. With all this, the adidas Solar Glide ST is able to offer more support in each stride, but also contribute to provide a better boost in the toe-off phase of the stride cycle. The new Solar franchise of adidas running has as its main mission to evolve already known models of the brand. In fact, these adidas Solar Glide ST are presented as the replacements of such an iconic model as the adidas Supernova Sequence Boost for pronators, and over which it has a plus of speed.
As in the rest of the Solar line, these Glide ST include the innovative Propulsion Rail technology, through which the model gains in greater stability, which translates into increased efficiency in each step.

In addition to the implied benefits of the BOOST midsole, this Glide ST has another plus: the successful combination of the strechweb outsole design and the Continental rubber compound to offer secure traction.
The upper of the adidas Glide ST is made with knitted mesh in the instep area, which is reinforced with suede fabric. But it also highlights the exclusive design of its tongue to provide the model with comfort, fit and lightness.
With respect to its big sister, adidas Solar Glide, the ST version presents the same technical specifications without varying the drop of 10 millimeters, although the weight does vary slightly with 318 grams for the men's version and 278 grams for the women's version.
