For those who are just starting out in the world of running, it is important to have shoes that function as a first approach to the technical characteristics of specific running shoes. However, it is to be expected that in this first stage of initiation, long distances will not be covered, nor will fast runs be carried out, so that a "very technical" shoe will not be used to its full potential.

Considering this phase of first steps in the running universe, adidas has the Adidas Response 3 model, an ideal shoe for training, with soft cushioning and better support in the heel and midfoot area. All contained in a more casual design, with a clear sneaker trend, that you could take everywhere.

Design features

As we have mentioned, these sneakers feature a more casual or "street" design, with very flashy colors in the upper. The adidas signature side stripes, which, in addition to functioning as a means of support, are part of the design of this sneaker. It has three lateral bands on the inner side of the foot, however these serve more to give style to the model than as true technical functionality.

A decorative band has been added to the outside of the foot with two eyelets to add an interesting touch to the lacing of the shoe. The entire shoe is lined with a more porous mesh, which allows the adidas Response 3 to provide great ventilation.

Outsole and midsole

The midsole of the third version of the adidas running Response integrates two very popular compounds from the German brand: Boost and EVA, both in 50% proportions horizontally and without separations in the midfoot as seen in other editions of adidas running shoes. This translates into soft cushioning.

For its part, the outsole is made of rubber that gives the model very good performance on asphalt terrain and facilitates cushioning and energy return during the stride.

An important detail regarding the adidas Response 3, and the reason why they are considered a good option as a training shoe or for beginners, is that they do not have TORSION System, the Adidas technology that allows the natural movement of the foot during long or fast runs.

Cushioning

The Adidas Response 3 features a 10 mm drop and more noticeable heel and midfoot support. These shoes are designed for a runner with a neutral stride profile and medium weight, as they ensure greater cushioning in the heel area.

These characteristics make the adidas Response 3 an ideal shoe when looking for a first technical shoe. With them you will be able to have the first experiences in terms of cushioning, support and fit systems that you expect in a running shoe. In addition to a price that is also worth noting, as it remains in a fairly affordable line for the vast majority of pockets.
