Year 2018

New addition to the line of Adidas Duramo running shoes, in this case we present the Duramo 9, a silhouette that comes to continue this saga of neutral running shoes that are characterized by their extreme lightness and fantastic grip, always taking into account that it is a mid-range shoe in the Adidas catalog, and that its quality / price ratio is the best on the market. This shoe can be used for some training runs or also to go to the gym, for a walk, or as a closet shoe that can be worn daily with sporty outfits. And this last option is the most used in these shoes, due to its excellent comfort.

Main differences of the Duramo 9 in the upper

The differences of the Adidas Duramo 9 compared to other models in this line such as the Duramo 8, Duramo 7, Duramo Duramo 6 and even Duramo 5 are very noticeable. And if they are compared to the version 8, imagine even their main versions. Compared to the most recent Duramo 8, we find a big change in the upper, which is now made entirely of mesh with the absence of the TPU side bands that Adidas used a few years ago. With the passage of time the brand has been able to manufacture a mesh so resistant that it does not need reinforcement on the side. The eyelets of this shoe is the only part where we find traces of the old Duramo, through that TPU so characteristic in the German brand, and by the way, you can have an adjustment of the laces in two levels. Two stabilizing panels have been introduced in the heel area. Inside the shoes we find the Ortholite insole that favors the expulsion of sweat and moisture to keep your feet dry and cool during the use of these shoes.

Midsole

In the midsole no changes have been made, the Cloudfoam technology has been used again, which offers a very versatile midsole, capable of adapting to different types of sports activities. Cloudfoam is an EVA compound system patented by Adidas that provides optimal levels of cushioning.

Outsole

The outsole used for this shoe has been the Adiwear pattern that favors greater resistance to wear in the areas of greater support of the tread. With this sole we gain in durability, as well as lightness, since the sole incorporates flexible grooves that lighten the weight of the shoe and improve the natural movement of the foot.

Comfort, versatility, and optimal cushioning to adapt to the most varied workouts, the Duramo 9 continues to offer the features that have made them stand out in previous editions, but improving some functional details that make them lighter and more grippy. With this new silhouette we will have a running shoe that not only serves to run, but also to accompany any sporty look that you are going to use in the day to day.
