Today we talk about the new Adidas Aerobounce 2, a running shoe designed for daily training and long distance races. It stands out for its great comfort and support while maintaining a lightweight build. And as you can guess with its name, it includes Bounce foam in the midsole, being the only compound of the firm able to provide equal parts cushioning and reactivity.

Adidas Aerobounce 2, comfort and support

Let's start talking about the performance of this model, as always we begin with the midsole where it incorporates the well-known Bounce foam. It is a compound based on the Boost, the star component of Adidas, but with certain nuances. The Bounce cushioning provides a pleasant feeling of comfort and softness from the first step. However, it does not seem to be as soft as the Boost compound. In fact, in a first contact with the Boost, you feel as if your foot sinks into the shoe, but this sensation is something we will not notice with these shoes. Bounce is soft and firm at the same time, but, without a doubt, its strong point is that it guarantees a point of reactivity that is always well received by runners.

As for the upper of the Adidas Aerobounce 2, we can say that in this second version mesh is the main material throughout the upper. This favors an optimal level of breathability, made with a lightweight and flexible material to ensure the user's comfort. On the inside of the upper there is a suede lining to contribute to this function and provide softness. It also incorporates a precise fit thanks to the TPU bands found in the midfoot and the A lace. In this way we can run with the tranquility of keeping our foot firm and secure.

We move on to the outsole, which has been slightly updated, in this case it has been manufactured with lightweight blown rubber. The pattern has several grooves along the foot that divide the sole and promote flexibility and natural movement of the foot, so that the runner has greater mobility. In addition to studs of different sizes but of low height along the entire sole, so we can ensure with these elements, a superior grip on the ground and excellent traction.

Finally, we finish with technical specifications, we can say that they are shoes that touch the barrier of 300, although to be exact its weight is 298 gr and the drop of 10 mm, a usual drop in Running shoes.
