Scarpa Rush

Scarpa's new model, the Scarpa Rush, is halfway between the shoes that thrive in races and training trail running shoes that we can also use for our hiking routes in the mountains.

The Scarpa Rush is a hiking shoe that has been designed with one basic premise, its versatility, making it possible to use the shoe for a variety of purposes, such as fast and light trails, high mileage days on rugged trails, or one-day hikes in the mountains.

Key features of the Scarpa Rush

Scarpa's hiking shoe includes some of the Italian brand's most prominent technologies and materials. The shoe is optimised for outdoor activities thanks to the perfect balance between agility for trail running and lightweight support for hiking, providing the responsiveness we need at all times.

The upper of the Scarpa Rush is made of a polyester mesh and Micro Nubuck fabric that provides comfort and adjustment of the foot inside the shoe, a fit that is improved with FIT technology, which consists of an elastic fabric in the central part of the shoe, which wraps the entire tongue and laces providing extra comfort and fit, necessary to avoid the movement of the foot inside the shoe in those more complicated or technical terrains.

The shoe has the Dynamic Stabilizer Torsion system in the heel area that gives us that stability, a good fit, protection and torsion control of our ankles, which is always welcome in the always uneven mountain terrain.

The midsole of the shoe has a 3D-EVA foam between medium and high density that provides the support and cushioning needed to run or walk in the mountains without worrying about this aspect during our routes.

The outsole of the Scarpa Rush includes Scarpa's PRESA Free-dome IKS SuperGum compound and has differentiated designs according to the different areas of the outsole. A rear part with larger lugs to help grip and braking in steep areas and a front part designed to provide greater momentum, grip and contact with the surface.

Technical specifications of the Scarpa Rush

The Scarpa Rush has an ideal drop for a shoe that is halfway between a trail running and hiking shoe, which gives us comfort in our excursions. It specifically has a drop of 8 mm in both versions, both for men and for women.

In terms of weight, the Scarpa Rush weighs 370 grams in the men's version and 300 grams in the women's version.
