What are the expectations of the new ASICS Metaspeed Ray?

ASICS presents this new member and is inspired by the speed of a ray of light and the Japanese term 'Rei', which means 'zero', alluding to its extreme lightness.

The new ASICS Metaspeed Ray has been developed in collaboration with the brand's elite athletes and following rigorous research and development by the entire ASICS Institute of Sport Science team, incorporating the brand's latest scientific innovations in its total commitment to speed.

The upper of the shoe has an upper made with Matryx fabric, a fabric made with a very light material and also stands out for its great durability.

The upper also stands out for ensuring a firm fit of our feet, even running at high speeds that are suitable for this model. In the heel area it has light padding and structure to provide the necessary comfort and stability while running fast.

The midsole incorporates the great innovations and new technologies developed by the Japanese brand for this season 2025. On the one hand, it incorporates the new ASICS Flyte Foam LEAP, the lightest, softest and most reactive foam used by the brand so far. This new technology offers a very light experience that allows runners a great reactivity in each of their strides.
